If you shine a very bright light on the screen and see that the screen is changing but you just can see it then the backlight failed and you need to figure out how to replace just the backlight or you will need to replace the entire screen. 2010 EXL 170K. Is that an odyssey? Anyway...had that issue on my 2014. Honda replaced the system at least 3 times a long with countless re programs if the system etc. It got better over time but was never fully fixed. Honda would only acknowledge it when I brought it while it was happening.
